In Our Community
New World supports our community through investment of our time and resources.
We support a variety of local and national organizations that make a difference in the lives of others. These include:
| American Red Cross supporting relief of disaster victims |
| Global Impact Mission supporting Katrina hurricane restoration efforts in Mississippi |
| Project Big Heart supporting Fredericksburg - area charities |
First Robotics Competition (FRC) Since 2002, New World has provided financial support and mentorship to the Rappahannock Robotics team (339) at the Commonwealth Governor's School (CGS) in Stafford, Virginia. In 2006, we extended our support to the robotics team (2021) at Fredericksburg Academy (FA).
About the FRC Program: During the six-week design and build period, New World technicians and engineers volunteer as mentors on evenings and weekends to help the teams successfully design and build operational robots. |
