GSA Awards Option Period 1 of New World’s Professional Engineering Services Schedule

FREDERICKSBURG, VA - The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) today awarded the first five-year option period of New World’s Professional Engineering Services (PES) Schedule, Contract No. GS-23F-0015M. This award extends New World’s PES contract through October 17, 2011. Under the terms of the PES Schedule, New World is qualified to provide: Concept Development and Requirements Analysis (SIN 871-2); System Design, Engineering and Integration (SIN 871-3); and Test and Evaluation (SIN 871-4).
GSA establishes long-term government wide contracts with commercial firms to provide access to commercial supplies and services that can be ordered directly from GSA Schedule contractors or through the GSA Advantage!® online shopping and ordering system. GSA Schedules offer customers direct access to high-performance solutions and services at discount pricing including the benefits of shorter lead-times, lower administrative costs, and reduced inventories. When using GSA Schedules, ordering activities have the opportunity to meet small business goals, while promoting compliance with various environmental and socioeconomic laws and regulations.
