New World’s Jeff Nalls Completes 2007 Face of America Bike Ride

(FREDERICKSBURG, VA) - On April 28th and 29th, New World’s Jeff Nalls successfully completed the 2007 Face of America Bike Ride - a two-day, 110-mile bike ride from Gettysburg, PA to the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. This event, sponsored by World T.E.A.M. Sports (www.worldteamsports.org), honors U.S. disabled veterans returning from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The participants raised funds to pay the expenses of active-duty participants, including the costs of accommodations, food, outreach, use of bicycles, and cycling clinics.
With the support of New World and employees, Nalls tripled his fundraising goal. After the event, Nalls shared his experience, "I had [an] opportunity only few have ever experienced. Everyone who participated in the event got a rare chance to see these heros in action as they competed in this race with the highest level of determination and willpower far beyond imagination...."
