Naval Sea Systems Command Awards SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Contract

FREDERICKSBURG, VA - Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has awarded New World Associates, Inc. an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for a wide range of engineering, technical, and programmatic support services for the Navy Virtual SYSCOM Commanders (NAVAIR, NAVSEA, NAVSUP and SPAWAR) as well as Military Sealift Command (MSC), Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC), Strategic Systems Program (SSP), Office of Naval Research and the United States Marine Corps. SeaPort-e furthers the Navy’s Seapower 21 objectives of facilitating performance-based service acquisition, leveraging buying power, improving business intelligence and reducing cycle time. The New World contract will have a two-year base contract period with one five-year option period and one additional three-year option period.
