OpenAire™ NBC Filter Systems on GSA Schedule
June 26, 2003
FREDERICKSBURG, VA -- The General Services Administration (GSA) today approved two new air filtration products for sale through New World’s GSA Schedule. They are the OpenAire Filter Housing (P/N NW000161) and OpenAire Filter System (P/N NW000275), used for removing nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) contaminants from ventilation air.
The OpenAire Housing is available in six lengths, holding from one to six cylindrical filters. The OpenAire Filter System consists of the OpenAire Housing mounted within a unit structural enclosure. Filter systems are available in 16 standard configurations up to four housings high by four housings wide, in both aluminum and stainless steel. These system use the US Army''s M98 gas/particulate filter set as well as the one-piece NATO equivalent.
"We are seeing strong interest in this product line," said company president Brad Repp. "Because the OpenAire Filter System requires no outer sleeve, it offers improved airflow performance at lower cost. This makes it ideal for large-scale building applications."
More information about these two products may be found on the company’s web site at http://www.newworldassociates.com.
