Installation. Testing. Maintenance.
Logistics and maintenance services are offered for all our products. New World is committed to providing our customers with complete satisfaction by offering solutions from initial design through the sustainment of the product.
Our Fields Services team supports a variety of installations and maintenance programs:
- Collective Protection (ColPro) systems for buildings. Services include system designs based on OpenAire, the U.S. Navy, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
- ColPro systems for ships. Services include system designs based on OpenAire as well as the U.S. Navy.
- Mail Security and handling systems in which CBR filters are used to capture, contain, and sample airborne substances
- Aerosol and Gas filtration systems installed in laboratories and containment systems
- ColPro systems for tents, mobile shelters, and vehicles
- Clean rooms
- General installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems
Our highly trained technicians install, service, and maintain products in the field.
To assure ColPro systems are operating properly, routine preventative and corrective maintenance is required on CBR filtration and HVAC systems. Filter replacement and testing is conducted based on maintenance requirements set forth in the design phase. The following maintenance activities are offered:
- Installing / replacing CBR filters, including M98 gas adsorbers / HEPA filters
- Installing / replacing bag and flat panel prefilters for CBR filter systems
- Annual surveillance inspection and testing of CBR filters and filter systems
- Aerosol and gas leak testing of CBR filter systems to ASME N510
- Maintenance of fans, fan motors, VFDs, dampers, and related equipment
- Calibration of monitoring and control equipment
- System and equipment troubleshooting
- Detailed test plans and procedures to test protection systems
Other system testing and verification services offered include:
- Blower door testing to quantify air leakage from a protected space or area (per ASTM E779-03)
- Leak investigation and sealing using approved techniques
- Airflow and pressure measurement and balancing to design requirements
- Noise and vibration evaluation and abatement
Standard prefilters and CBR filtration replacement parts are stocked in-house to assure that CBR protection systems are efficiently maintained. Our engineering staff works with the customer’s mechanical and electrical subcontractors to integrate and maintain CBR filtration equipment for the custom application at hand.
Reliability of mail handling components is critical to mail processing. Flexibility to work off-hours is required to assure mail can be processed effectively. Our technicians work closely with the engineering staff to identify and solve immediate maintenance issues. Routine preventative maintenance is scheduled and conducted at the customer’s availability.
Our technicians provide a wide range of general installation and maintenance support for mechanical and electrical systems. We routinely support programs on buildings, ships, and vehicles where installation and maintenance of electromechanical systems is required. Our engineering staff can support:
- Complete custom mechanical fabrication services
- Welding
- Ductwork fabrication and repair
- Site and project management
Our production facility is ISO:9000 compliant and can handle your low volume production needs. Standard processes and quality inspection requirements are in place to ensure systems are manufactured using regulation standards.
1. Do you service Collective Protection Systems (CPS) on U.S. Navy ships?
Yes. We have a long history of supporting the U.S. Navy in balancing, testing, and troubleshooting CPS installations and familiarity with many ships. We can assist with CBR filter replacements, in-situ leak tests to Navy procedures, zone boundary leak assessments, and system troubleshooting. We stock most common replacement parts for CPS equipment - including prefilters, gaskets, and filter housing hardware.2. Is your Field Services capability limited to CBR protection systems?
No. While CBR protection is a specialty area, our Field Service team is often called up to tackle a range of maintenance and troubleshooting tasks with comprehensive testing capabilities that include: pressure, temperature, sound, shock, vibration, and airflow. Our mobile support allows us to diagnose, repair, and maintain products as well as perform upgrades requiring mechanical fabrication and welding.3. What Field Services do you offer for building ColPro systems?
We offer a range of start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance services including: installation and replacement of CBR filters and prefilters; in-situ filter system leak tests to ASME N510; air flow measurement and balancing; boundary leak assessments and sealing; blower-door testing to ASTM E779-03; noise and vibration evaluation and abatement; and more!
